The virtual world of the internet comprises of websites of various types. There are numerous websites available in the internet. The idea which is important to grow is that, the websites must have something extremely unique for which the websites can be reached separately every time we wish to. The address of the websites happens to be the domain name which is meant for the users from all over the globe. The domain name is however linked to a unique internet protocol, which is the way in which every single website is identified by the server. Thus for building a website, the first most important step has to be to search domain. There are several websites which are there to help the users in this regard. Websites like, search domain have a very strong database. The websites help the user to fix up the domain name for their website with a lot of ease. The user needs to key in the proposed domain name. The search engine immediately returns the result of all websites in all popular service providers having the same or close names. The websites even say the category of the concerned websites. Thus one can easily check if the name is available or not. In case, the domain name is not available, the user would need to think of a different name.
However using this process once the user fixes up a domain name, he can assign that to his new website and can have it linked to the entire virtual world. The name thus selected from there on, would not be available for anyone else any more. The name would be unique to the concerned website. Thus a user can benefit a lot in every way by using the website stated above in more ways than one.

Internet users cutting across the lines of all the web browsers must have come across this error message of javascript:void(0). Although this message is similar on various occasions but the reasons are different for different users. You will get to know about the various reasons of this message.

Major reason for this error message is the pop up blocker. Majorly the pop up blocker is designed to stop those windows that open up as the advertisements with various sites. However, these pop up blockers can also stop the various JAVA scripts from executing. Therefore, to solve this problem make the changes in the preferences of the pop up blocker according to the requirements. Before downloading and installing the pop up blocker make sure that you go through all the reviews to know about whether that particular pop up blocker has history of frequently blocking the various scripts.

The various proxy servers we use for accessing the various banned websites and maintaining the anonymity of the user can lead to the blocking of the various scripts. You can avoid this by either not using the proxy server or by choosing a proxy which has got the better functionality and does not block the various scripts. Another reason could be the compatibility of the webpage with your browser. Inform the webmaster about this problem and it will be fixed in due course of time.

In addition, you might have disabled the various scripts from running in your browser. So for enabling this in Internet Explorer go to the scripting tab of the security option in the Tools menu under the internet options. For Firefox go to tools menu and then in Web features enable the JavaScript option. If nothing works out of the above-mentioned options then it means that you need to upgrade the version of the browser or should shift to another browser with all the facilities.

In this article we’ll look at a collection of Java String programming tips. The Java String class is one of the most commonly-used classes, so it’s well worth knowing how to perform some of the most common operations.

Testing String equality

The first important thing to know about working with Java strings is how to compare two strings to each other. Unlike comparing primitives in Java, you cannot compare two Java strings like this:

if (s1 == s2) { // do something here }
Actually, you can do that, but it would be wrong. The correct way to compare two Java strings is to use the String equals method, like this:

if (s1.equals(s2)) { // do something here }
Finding one string in another string
A second common String operation is to search one string to see if it contains some other string. For instance, assume you had a string named toppings, and you wanted to see if that string contained the string “pepperoni”. A simple way to do that is to use the indexOf() method, like this:

if (toppings.indexOf(“pepperoni”) >= 0) { // your logic here }
As a precaution, if you don’t know the case of the string you’re comparing to, you’re always better off converting that string to upper- or lower-case, like this:

if (toppings.toLowerCase().indexOf(“pepperoni”) >= 0) { // your logic here }
One final way to do this, which is really very powerful, is to use the matches() method of the Java String class, like this:

if (toppings.matches(“.*pepperoni.*”)) System.out.println(“found a match”);
Note that with this method you actually need to pass in a regular expression, that’s why the string in between the parentheses looks like this:

“.*pepperoni.*”
instead of this, which would not work:

“pepperoni”
Extracting a substring
Another very common Java String class operation is to extract a substring from a String. Java includes a substring() method for just this purpose. Let’s look at a few examples.

If we start with this String declaration:

String address = “Four score and seven years ago”;
we can extract everything after the fifth position in the string with this substring statement:

String sub = address.substring(5);
If we print out the new String named sub, the output will look like this:

score and seven years ago
With the substring() method, we can also limit the length of the substring we extract, so this statement:

String sub = address.substring(5, 20);
can be read as, “Starting after the fifth position in the String, extract the next 20 characters.” If we now print the output of the variable sub, it will look like this:

score and seven
There are more operations you can perform on strings, including working on Java String arrays, but these are some of the most common String methods you’ll need on a daily basis.

Java String array examples

It’s also very common to store strings in Java arrays. There are two main ways to declare a Java String array. In the first approach, you define the array, and give it an initial size, like this:

String[] toppings = new String[20];
After that, you populate the array later in your code.

In the second approach, you define and populate your Java String array in one statement, like this:

String[] toppings = {“Cheese”, “Pepperoni”, “Black Olives”};
Either approach will work; it’s just a matter of which array syntax you need for the current situation.

live pc support Apart from the traditional forms of computer support in UK new technology brings in computer support through internet. Online computer support services are much more robust, economical and efficient form of technical support to the modern users.

Programming languages seem to follow a cycle in which they become widely used, then fall into disfavor and eventually become “legacy” technology. COBOL, anyone? Java is a programming language that was widely considered revolutionary when it was first released. Its promise of write once, run anywhere offered to change the way computer applications were developed. Java has enjoyed a great deal of adoption but as the world increasingly moves towards web based applications, has Java’s fifteen minutes of fame elapsed? Is Java obsolete?

One feature of the Java programming language is that it enforces object-oriented design. Object-oriented design was created largely to address the complexity of maintaining large software systems. By creating abstract models of the various parts of the system, complexity could be reduced and it was believed that more code could be reused. While the reuse goals of object-oriented design have not always been realized, the simplification of maintenance has been. Java requires the use of object oriented design. In fact, some detractors see this as a problem. Java has no way to write strictly procedural code like you might write in a small script. This is less of a problem than many realize. By enforcing object-oriented principles, Java actually encourages developers to spend more time thinking out the design of their systems and this leads to code that is more easily maintained.

The object-oriented nature of Java also makes it ideal for programming using design patterns. Design patterns are simply object-oriented designs that have been tested and that encapsulate frequently encountered design problems. One example of a design pattern is the familiar web development pattern of Model-View-Controller (MVC). Java’s object-oriented nature makes it an excellent language to learn and use design patterns. Using these patterns also leads to better code.Link Building Company India Leading For Organic, Ethical SEO & Internet Marketing.

Java’s initial promise of write once, run anywhere continues to be true today. Java is compiled into byte code which is then executed by a virtual machine. As a result, Java software is very portable. It is almost trivial to port a Java system to a new platform. This makes it an ideal platform for writing software for diverse hardware and operating system platforms. Incidentally, diverse hardware and operating systems perfectly describes the lay of the land in the rapidly growing mobile device space. If any revolution in the computing world helped to ensure that Java stays relevant, it would be the burgeoning mobile space.

Finally, Sun’s move to make Java open source means that its future is no longer tied to the rise and fall of any one company. By making Java open source, Sun ensured that virtual machines for running Java byte code could and would exist for any new platform. This further adds to Java’s relevance as it will likely be available on whatever new platforms emerge in the near future. By developing in Java, application developers can future proof their applications. They know that it will be trivial to port them to whatever the next great operating system or hardware platform is.

While desktop applications are no longer king, Java is still quite relevant because of its promise of write once, run anywhere. This ability to code applications and expect them to work on any platform that supports Java makes it an ideal development language for the rapidly growing mobile device market. With its other strengths, the mobile market alone should ensure that Java remains relevant for many years.

Devising for the client’s industry-specific software services, the offshore software development companies India are working hard to deploy all available resources to the best use. Today, clients are demanding for cost management along with speed, for which offshore software developing companies are bridging the gap with increased performance and services offered as per client’s standards.

Making use of technology such as programming language Java, which is simple, distributed, object-oriented, interpreted, secure, robust, portable, multithreaded, high-performance, and dynamic, adds better performance and best support for latest wave of open, quick web services. Independent Java applets are utilized for Internet programming in Java. Software developing companies consider Java as the most portable programming language ever developed.

Offshore software developing companies working on Java, find comfortable to work with it than any other software, as Java runs well on varied types of embedded devices, ATMs, smart cards, PCs, mainframes, and application servers. While working on this programming language, offshore application developing company’s software developers enjoy the freedom, to define separately the operations to be performed, and subsequently place that logic on practically any computer, despite its core operating system or hardware architecture.

The modern hi-tech software industry is starting to develop the next generation web services, with help of programming language Java as their prime choice. Java helps programmers, who are interested in developing quality services, as it allows space for cross platform implementation and object development, with maximum code security. It aids HTML developers in adding animations, interactions, and web customization. Even the end users are at easy, while working with this programming language, as it is easy to get updates, and is rather virus free.

With J2EE being established in recent years, as a platform to develop and deploy enterprise application, offshore application developing companies have developed many software products and web services meeting significant scalability, data integrity, accessibility, and accordance.

Jetty, an Open source application server from Java has been the talk of the Developers community these days. As a source servlet container, Jetty is known the most. This Java Technology had been made as set of JAR files which you can embed in your current Java code as an Object. Such functionality widen the feasibility for web applications and servlets.

Jetty is progressing towards getting deployed on 300000 public web servers and client companies. The leading and one of the well know Java application server in Java Developers community is Apache Tomcat has the count near about 400000. Currently Yahoo projects like Hadoop Cluster and Zimbra along with Google AppEngine are powered by Jetty.

Jetty is increasingly coming into use with major technology partners who lead and support it to come up with more functionality. It has been included by Eclipse IDE and OSGi framework same is the case with Equinox.

During early 2010 release of Jetty 8.0 has been planned by Java developers, and for that WebTide has already been working on it to increase its overall performance. Currently version 7.0 is there which has no performance issues but as technology always demand more further research and development for more advanced deployment is being carried out.

Jetty basically developed to act as HTTP server and Client along with javax.servlet container. It was hosted by the Eclipse foundation which further contains it into its IDE. Because of its light weight and small size it is pretty much compatible for getting embedded with Java applications. This web server technology is open source and also the dual licensed under the Apache Licence 2.0.

Jetty has been deployed in more than 2 million web servers till date. Java technology is one of the secure platform to develop software application on. Jetty provides Java Developers the functionality for web server as well as for web client once deployed at web server.
